Once in a Blue Moon  is out of our small pony mare, Angel, and by the Connemara Stallion, Corner Oak Reveille.  "Blue" was a late baby in that she was born in September of 2005.  She attended her first show at the tender age of 3 weeks -  at which she won her Dressage Sport Horse In Hand class with a whopping 70% score!  A month later she showed again, and received the same score, again winning the class!  She scored 7's on her trot and 8's on her conformation!  Blue is following in her mother's footsteps as a jumper pony.  From the time she was a few weeks old she would jump anything that was in front of her for the sheer joy of jumping.  She has 3 very athletic, good gaits, with walk and canter being her best gaits.  Her form free jumping has been very good with tight knees and lots of bascule.  She is not spooky or afraid of anything and definitely has a mind of her own!  She will probably excel in eventing, jumpers, or as a hunter pony.
