Trueheart, aka "Truman", was a "surprise" baby being born at 327 days in the middle of the night on May 27, 2009.  His dam gave no signs of impending birth that night; however, she figured Truman needed to be born in time for Anissa's 40th birthday.  What a wonderful birthday present he is too!

Truman is out of our Elite mare, Tanzania *E* and is by the Trakehner stallion, Impressionist.  We were hoping to combine the performance and movement of the Avignon II, Ricardo, and The Prince Conde lines from the dam as well as the type, temperament, and rideability of Impressionist, Hailo *Pg*E*, EH Anduc, and EH Mackensen.   He is the half brother to both of the approved ATA stallions, Tatendrang and Tycoon.   Truman shows a swinging walk with a huge overstep, a forward trot with good shoulder, and an uphill, round canter.  He is balanced at all 3 gaits and has a friendly temperament.  Both his sire and dam are homozygous for black so he would be also.  We expect him to mature to 16.3 - 17.1 hh.
